On a quiet inner-ring suburban street of St. Louis, John S. faced a challenge he had never encountered – storm damage to his roof.

“A big part of this process I didn’t understand was how I work with the insurance company. How much are they going to pay? How much do I pay? If they accept an initial amount, will any additional issues they might find come out of my pocket? I just didn’t know. And that was a big part of what Allen helped me understand,” John said. “They worked with the insurance company, they worked with their engineer. They showed them the problems they might have missed and made sure that I could get a completely new roof at little to no cost to me and to make sure that it was done right.”
Ultimately, the full roof replacement costs were covered.
Once approved, the Allen Roofing & Siding team guided John through choosing the right shingles for his home. They explained the various options available, helping him make an informed decision based on performance and aesthetics in keeping with the homes in his neighborhood.
Allen Roofing & Siding also proactively identified an issue with ventilation in John’s attic and proposed a solution involving adding additional vents for improved airflow.

By educating me early, they made everything so simple, we were able to get on the schedule quickly, get the old roof off, get the new roof on, it just couldn’t have been simpler.”
